Twenty years ago, our president, Paco, became Aladina's first volunteer. Today, we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of 57 individuals who generously offer their time and love to children with cancer every single day.
Their efforts are always coordinated and overseen by our hospital director and the rest of the foundation's team.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, in-person volunteering is currently not possible at any of the hospitals we collaborate with. However, since March 2020, we have implemented a specific and well-organized online volunteering program with our dedicated team of volunteers.
We believe that fun is a powerful medicine with no side effects!
Through our online platform, we engage in activities such as music therapy, arts and crafts, relaxation and yoga sessions for parents, a wide range of workshops, and special virtual visits.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we remain committed to bringing joy and positivity to the lives of children with cancer and their families. Our volunteers continue to make a difference, even from a distance.
Fun is the best medicine!
From music beats that groove to crafting wonders, yoga stretches that make us laugh, and workshops that spark creativity, not to forget those heartwarming special visits - our journey is an endless adventure!
Because here's the secret we swear by: Fun is hands down the best medicine ever!
