Lucas Aguado

“Lucas is a cheerful, outgoing, and sociable five-year-old who can brighten even the grayest day with his smile. On January 16, 2024, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Lucas had medulloblastoma, and ahead of us lay nine months of treatment, including radiation and chemotherapy. The hospital quickly became our second home.
Nearly ten months have passed, and Lucas has finally completed his treatment. Throughout this journey, Lucas’s doctors and nurses have never let go of our hand—nor has the Aladina Foundation. Thanks to them, we’ve met incredible people like Carlos, Lorena, and Diego. Lucas enjoys weekly online golf and tennis lessons, he’s worked out hard in the hospital gym with Elena, “traveled” to Jurassic World to see dinosaurs, wandered among animals at the zoo, and explored his artistic side in a painting workshop—just to name a few.
Thanks to Aladina, Lucas has never lost his smile. He’s still that joyful, playful kid who loves to joke around with everyone.”
