A new award for our architect, Elisa Valero

Our talented architect, Elisa Valero, recently got a special mention from the judging panel for the arcVision Prize – Women and Architecture, a honor which she received in Milan, Italy. The judging panel recognized Elisa’s sensitivity when it comes to creating her works, especially the ones designed for children.

Elisa is the architect behind our Maktub Center for bone marrow transplants, the new Aladina Garden at the Hospital de Getafe, and she’s currently involved in our new project to completely reform the children’s ICU at the Hospital Niño Jesús.

In these three projects, Elisa plays with color, natural and artificial lighting, and shapes in order to create wonderful spaces for our little fighters.
