Last weekend Aladina accompanied the Aladinos to the fourth edition of the international tournament Winners Cup 23, which this year took place in Milan.
The tournament brings together cancer patients to unite the love of football and sport, and the desire to disconnect from illness, hospital and treatment. The teenagers who attended enjoyed three days of sport and new friends, and also found time to get to know the city and the Italian culture better with some scheduled sightseeing tours.
This international ‘getaway’ is part of the Physical Exercise and Emotional Support Programme provided by Fundación Aladina. Sport has been shown to bring many benefits to cancer patients. For this reason, Aladina promotes #RoutinesThatGiveLife to help Aladinos throughout the process.
