We are launching a fantastic campaign to raise awareness about the importance of fighting childhood cancer… The Smile Button!
A button you can now use to lift your spirits, feel a little better and send a message to anyone you like… Doesn’t that sound great?
The children with cancer we take care of at Fundación Aladina have a secret: a button that helps them overcome their roughest times and to do so with a smile. They thought that particularly during these hard times we could all benefit from their secret… the Smile Button!

The Smile Buttonrepresents how sick children and teens view the foundation, as an escape routethat is always there for them whenever they need some psychological, emotional or material support from us. A true emergency button that Aladina’s kids and teens are now giving back to society to help us get through the tough times we may be experiencing.
This year it is more crucial than ever before to remember the importance of supporting and shining a light on kids and teens with cancer on World Cancer Day. The COVID-19 pandemic has silenced the health nightmare many cancer patients are experiencing, especially children. This is due to, on the one hand, repeated postponements of treatments and operations that could be lifesaving for them and, on the other, the extreme isolation measures they are subjected to at hospitals, with heightened protection to prevent possibly-fatal infections.
