Just a few days ago, our fifth grief support group for parents came to an end. The program was coordinated by our psyco-oncologist, Valeria Moriconi, and our president, Paco Arango, who both came to say goodbye to the parents.
Valeria spent lots of afternoons with the group, and she had a beautiful message for everyone:
“This year, we’ve shared so many things – memories, emotions, feelings of guilt and anger, happiness and smiles; all of them are unforgettable and hugely valuable. Thanks to each individual’s participation, with their own quirks and personality, we’ve been able to make a group. With both individual and collective work, constant and tireless, you’ve been able to find meaning and the legacy that our children have left us. You’ve broken through the wall of desperation that was blocking you from keeping on going”.
