The best Fundación Aladina's campaigns
“The strongest chair" (2018)
Through this campaign, we wanted to pay tribute to all the parents of children with cancer who have spent long periods of time in a hospital chair. A chair that might not be made from the best materials, is not created by a famous designer and is certainly not the most comfortable piece of furniture in the world; however, it's the only chair capable of withstanding the pain and helplessness felt by these parents.
We invited parents and friends of Aladina to sit on the chair and share their experience. Marta Sánchez, Elena Furiase, Eugenia Osborne, Juan Peña, Fiona Ferrer and Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo all spoke on the video. And we also heard from Paula, José, Cristina, Marta, Eloy, Gema, Yolanda and Paco, the parents of some of the little fighters we admire so much and how their time in “the chair” affected them.

At the end of the campaign, we auctioned off the chair, and received a large donation to allow us to continue helping our little warriors.
This campaign would not have been possible without the hard work, kindness, and generosity of McCann.

“A hug for the Niño Jesús children's ICU” (2016-2017)
Our campaign “A hug for the children the Hospital Niño Jesús’ ICU” was an extraordinary campaign through which we raised funds to build the new Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Niño Jesús.
The aim was to bring together Madrid’s citizens and to get “opposites” to embrace for this great cause.
For instance, players from Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid shared the first big hug for the new ALADINA ICU at the Madrid derby. Then, other friends like Pedro Piqueras, Matías Prats, Antonio Banderas, Eduardo Gómez, Mario Vaquerizo, Cayetano Rivera, Susana Grisso and Antonio Carmona all helped us out in this beautiful campaign.
Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of people, schools, and companies, we flooded social media with hugs for a cause, and in December 2016, the ALADINA ICU opened its doors, following an investment of €1,500,000 Since then, this pioneering unit, equipped with the very best technology, has cared for approximately 800 seriously ill children every year.
This campaign would not have been possible without the hard work, kindness, and generosity of the agency Sra. Rushmore.
“CANCER IS AFRAID OF US” (2019)
With a fun but very real slogan, we launched this digital campaign starring two of our precious little warriors: Amanda and Nandete, with the collaboration of our good friend José Coronado.
Through three short films, we conveyed how childhood cancer is truly afraid of Fundación Aladina because we will NEVER stop fighting it.

“THE SMILE BUTTON” (2021)
The Smile Button of Fundación Aladina is the secret weapon of children and adolescents with cancer to feel better during bad times.
When we were all isolated and scared, the children Aladina cares for gave us a hand and shared with us their trick to regaining joy, the Smile Button. A button to press, smile, and send a very special message to whoever we want.
Thanks to the agency Leo Burnett for the generosity and creativity that made such a beautiful campaign possible. And of course, thank you so much to our starring girls, Paula, Manar, Daniela, Andrea and Chrischelle, we loved to see the media and the Spanish streets flooded with their beautiful smiles.
