Each summer for the past 5 years, 200 Spanish children with cancer have gotten to enjoy a week in either Ireland or Italy to have an unforgettable experience thanks to the Fundación Aladina.
Our president’s movie has been the surprise hit of the Spanish box office. The movie, which was released in theaters across Spain on February 17, has been seen by more than 450,000 viewers and raised €2.7 million. What a success!
But what’s most important of all is that kids like Telma, Eloy, Candela, Guille, and lots more got to enjoy some well-deserved vacations.
Last year, 8-year-old Candela went to Barretstown in Ireland and had a wonderful time. What was her favorite part? “Riding horses, archery, singing and dancing…and at night, we had a sort of assembly where we talked about what we’d like the best,” she remembered.
