{"id":28321,"date":"2021-09-07T14:57:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T12:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aladina-org.the-lion.com\/quienes-somos\/noticias-aladina\/we-make-it-possible-for-all-armenian-children-with-cancer-to-receive-cancer-treatment-for-two-months\/"},"modified":"2026-02-05T18:16:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T17:16:14","slug":"we-make-it-possible-for-all-armenian-children-with-cancer-to-receive-cancer-treatment-for-two-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aladina.org\/en\/who-we-are\/aladina-news\/we-make-it-possible-for-all-armenian-children-with-cancer-to-receive-cancer-treatment-for-two-months\/","title":{"rendered":"We make it possible for all Armenian children with cancer to receive cancer treatment for two months"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>We have made a <strong>donation of $160,000<\/strong> to the Armenian <a href=\"https:\/\/cityofsmile.org\/\">City of Smile<\/a> Foundation, the organisation that&nbsp;funds the diagnosis, <strong>treatment and psychosocial support of Armenian children and adolescents sufferingfrom cancer &nbsp; up to the age of 25 &nbsp; and promotes oncological and haematological research in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This donation will be used in its entirety to cover the treatment costs of between 90 and 100&nbsp;children and adolescents without resources who suffer from cancer or haematological diseases for a period of two months. The number equivalent to the new annual diagnoses of pediatric cancer in the country.&nbsp;<\/strong><br class=\"\"><br class=\"\">About 100 new cases of childhood cancer are diagnosed in Armenia each year.
