Bosch Foundation. <strong>Bosch Foundation, we have started the works that will make the new Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Area of the Vall d&#8217;Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus a reality<\/strong>. This project will change forever the appearance of the current area and the relationship of patients, relatives and caregivers with the hospital.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is one of the most ambitious projects to date undertaken by Fundaci\u00f3n Aladina, <strong>and will have a direct impact on the well-being of the children and adolescents suffering from cancer<\/strong>, and their families, admitted to this hospital.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new area will be a comfortable and friendly environment, where medical treatment, rest and leisure time will coexist naturally.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Area at Vall d&#8217;Hebron is a fundamental project with a budget of 7.4 million euros, of which we have yet to raise 1 million. <a href=\"https:\/\/aladina.org\/en\/crowfunding\/new-pediatric-oncology-hematology-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Your help is essential<\/a> to make this project a reality.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does the new Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Area at Vall d&#8217;Hebron consist of?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new project of the Aladina Foundation together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciosmall.org\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n Small<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacioabosch.org\/es\/inicio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n A. Bosch<\/a> has a total of 2,646 square metres with the aim of providing comfort, coexistence, privacy and security to children with cancer and their families.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new unit will be equipped with:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>13 single children&#8217;s rooms + companion<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>7 single rooms for teenagers + chaperone<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>8 bone marrow transplant beds<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Children&#8217;s play area<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Parents&#8217; rest area<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Adolescent Zone<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Hospital classroom<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Gym<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Large terrace with green area<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this comprehensive project is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families during their stay in hospital.
