Last week Ishtar Espejo, director of Aladina, and Ana Davila, our communications director, traveled to Moldova to attend the annual St. Jude regional meeting for Europe.
The congress brings together organizations from all over the continent with a common goal: to improve the quality of life of children with cancer.
Aladina is the only Spanish organization belonging to this international alliance that unites hospitals, institutions and non-profit organizations to find new ways to help children’s cancer patients at a national and international level.
In addition, we visited a hospital in Moldova to learn about their healthcare system and had the opportunity to share our annual Aladina Challenge Scarf campaign, so that it will reach even further next year!
