Lokomat® Pediatric Robot

Donated pediatric rehabilitation robot, called LOKOMAT, to aid children with spinal cord injuries.

Parapléjicos de Toledo—our first collaboration with this hospital. The Lokomat is an advanced rehabilitation device that helps children with spinal cord injuries learn to walk again through safe, personalized training. This sophisticated exoskeleton attaches to the patient's legs and mobilizes hips and knees to simulate walking while the upper body is held in place by a harness. This way, we support children who, after overcoming cancer or other conditions, need specialized rehabilitation to regain autonomy and quality of life. Recover from a severe spinal cord injury while feeling like a cyborg or your favorite comic book hero? It's possible!
