In Armenia, the health system can only cover a small part of the cost of cancer treatments. Around 70% of the total cost must be borne by the patient’s family; This, in a country in which more than 30% of the population lives below the poverty line.

For this reason, we have collaborated with the Armenian organization “City of Smile”, which provides treatment to children with cancer, making a donation of $160,000.

Our donation will be used entirely to cover the treatment costs of between 90 and 100 children and adolescents without resources who suffer from cancer or hematological diseases for two months. The number equivalent to the new annual diagnoses of pediatric cancer in the country.

This collaboration is part of our “Aladina International” program, through which we provide support to foreign entities that help children with cancer or serious illnesses.
