Our president Paco Arango, together with the Regional Minister of Health of the Principality of Asturias, Concepción Saavedra, today inaugurated ‘Territorio de Juego’, the new decoration of the paediatric areas of the HUCA. This project, which has a total cost of 116,195 euros, has been financed entirely by Aladina.
With the humanisation of these areas, the aim was to move the paediatric areas of the hospital to the territory of children, evoking their main tools, imagination and play.
The intervention, which started in 2019 – interrupted for one year due to the COVID pandemic – affects the following paediatric areas:
- Paediatric inpatient units
- Waiting rooms and public consultation areas
- Paediatric radiology
- Paediatric emergencies
- Paediatric ICU
- Day hospital
- Neonatology and Neonatal ICU
- Free circulation spaces for paediatric patients
- 5 doors of the Paediatric ICU boxes
Thanks to all the companies and collaborators who have helped us to make this project a reality, especially our friends from Uco Trading and Sidra Trabanco, as well as the illustrators from Estudio Komorebi and Estudio Vagoom, and the interior architect, María Abascal.
