The children with cancer and their families that Aladina cares for in Valencia had the opportunity to visit the Mestalla Stadium thanks to an invitation from Valencia CF.
50 people, including children and family members, attended a private visit to this centenary stadium and walked on the same grass as great Valencia CF stars such as Rubén Baraja, Cañizares, Mendieta and Kempes.
Our colleague from Valencia, Eva Robles, explains the importance of these outings: ‘In their lives, children with cancer face many difficulties, and having illusions is essential. Warriors also need to enjoy and relax! Every day for them is a struggle, and this type of action gives them the strength to carry on’.
