LUDA Partners, the first and only neural network that facilitates communication between pharmacies to locate medications with supply problems, presents “LUDA Solidarity Pharmacies“, in favor of Fundación Aladina. This is an initiative that aims to recognize the care work that Spanish pharmacies carry out with their patients, helping them locate medications that have supply problems.
A solidarity action, free and for all pharmacies
In this solidarity action, and completely free, all pharmacies participating in the LUDA Partners digital network participate. In addition, all those new pharmacies that decide to join the LUDA digital project coinciding with the development weeks of ‘LUDA Solidarity Pharmacies’ will also be able to participate, like the rest of their colleagues in the sector.
Regarding operations, from September 19 to November 16, the total number of patients helped among all participating pharmacies will be counted through the LUDA Partners tool. Thus, this action will highlight the essential collaborative function that pharmacies carry out on their main focus of intervention: patients.
In this sense, all participants will contribute with their healthcare interventions to be part of a social cause of great significance in Spanish society. Besides, At the end of the action, the most participating pharmacies will receive a badge for their valuable solidarity work in their pharmacies. LUDA will donate one euro for each patient helped to the Aladina Foundation.
Therefore, as a finishing touch to the initiative, LUDA, on behalf of all the participating pharmacies and fully recognizing their work, will donate one euro for each patient helped through the tool in the aforementioned weeks, to the Aladina Foundation, whose main mission is accompany and make children with cancer happy throughout the entire disease process.
One of the latest campaigns of the Foundation is ‘The Smile Button‘, a particular ‘escape route’ for children with cancer that, after pressing it, helps them overcome difficult moments always with a smile. This button represents the way in which sick children and adolescents relate to the Foundation itself, receiving the psychological, emotional and material support they may need. In addition, through a website specifically enabled for this action, personalized or predetermined messages can now be sent to patients and shared through social networks.
For its part, LUDA is a solution created by and for pharmacists, which facilitates communication between pharmacies to locate medications with supply problems. It is an innovative digital tool, a pioneer in the sector, that enables connection and collaboration between them to help pharmacists find the medications demanded by their patients and who, for whatever reason, do not have them at that moment. . In addition, it reinforces the Spanish pharmacy model, as it enhances its presence in the digital world, by promoting the online sales channel for parapharmacy, which in recent years was being abandoned due to not being able to compete in it.
