‘Lo Que De Verdad Importa’ has not stopped giving us joy since its premiere in 2017, when it already created a real wave of solidarity, managing to gather more than 3 million spectators in front of the screen in cinemas in 16 countries around the world. Quite a milestone for a completely independent, Spanish and 100% charitable film!
The film tells the story of Alec, an English mechanical engineer unable to put his life in order. When his electronics repair shop is about to go bankrupt, a relative he never knew he had offers to solve his problems in exchange for a year’s move to Nova Scotia, Canada, the birthplace of his ancestors, where the most incomprehensible things will happen.
