Scarf Challenge Join in!

Join the biggest annual tribute for children with cancer

15 February is World Childhood Cancer Day and the Aladina Foundation would like to pay our children the great tribute they deserve. We know that you have a heart of solidarity and that is why we invite you to help us spread the word about the initiative we are launching: ‘Pañuelo Challenge’.

You can be a fantastic loudspeaker to generate a huge wave of solidarity and support for children and teenagers suffering from cancer, who often have to wear headscarves because of their treatments.

What can you do to help us make the ‘Handkerchief Challenge’ a success?

  • From home

Put on your scarf!

Wear a headscarf and take a photo or video and upload it to your networks.

Count it!

Here’s a hint…: ‘Today, World Childhood Cancer Day, I’m joining the Aladina Foundation’s Pañuelo Challenge to support children suffering from cancer. Put on a scarf and join in! Mention our profile @Fundacionaladina and #PañueloChallengeAladina

Show your solidarity!

Encourage your friends, family, your children’s school to join in… we want everyone to join in!

  • From school, the hospital, your company, or city hall.

And if you’re a company or a school, here are some ideas for getting all your staff involved in the Pañuelo Challenge, joining this wave of solidarity.

Solidarity break at 12:00 p.m.

Take 5-10 minutes that day to wear a headscarf as a sign of support for sick children, and pause your work in the office. We are calling on institutions, hospitals, schools, and businesses to join us on that day, at the same time, by wearing a scarf at our workplace.

Buy our solidarity scarf, a very easy way to contribute.

You can place your order with us until January 31st and celebrate the Pañuelo Challenge with our solidarity scarves!

Organise a solidarity action with your employees on that day to raise funds and help us continue to improve the lives of hundreds of children with cancer.

Social Media

We would love for you to share photos of that special moment on your social media using the hashtag #PañueloChallengeAladina and tagging us: @FundacionAladina.

Our “aladinos” are the most important, and we want them to feel more loved than ever on this special day.

Can we count on you?
