Our psycho-oncologist Valeria has been chosen by the prestigious bereavement psychologist Robert Neimeyer to join his team in Europe as a consultant. The Portland Institute is a worldwide bereavement institute and has groups of bereavement therapists in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Valeria, as well as attending daily to ‘aladinos’ admitted to the Niño Jesús Hospital, also carries out other types of sessions aimed at parents and siblings. These include bereavement counselling, in which we are pioneers, and which takes place in the practice we finance outside the hospital.
