Aladina Inaugura ‘El Viaje de Aladina’ en Virgen del Rocío

The €690,000 project, which has completely renovated the hospital’s Paediatric Onco-Hematology Unit, also includes the construction of a rest pavilion for parents and the refurbishment of an outdoor playground.

A major refurbishment inspired by Ferdinand Magellan’s voyage around the world, which represents our first major intervention in Andalusia and has cost €690,000.

Thanks to this work, the new plant will have:

  • 22 bed stations decorated with animals from the different parts of the world that Magellan travelled around.
  • 436m2 renovated in which each room has: new decoration, natural light, independent bathroom, new lighting and call system.
  • New parent room attached to the unit with kitchen, full bathroom, lounge and dining room.
  • Construction of a new outdoor courtyard, ‘Patio de los Valientes’.

‘Aladina’s Journey’ will change the way children and adolescents with cancer live their days in the hospital. Bright and open spaces where children will be the protagonists of a great adventure, their own.

We couldn’t be happier.
