At Aladina, we work to bring the best possible medical care to children and adolescents with cancer around the world. That’s why our work extends beyond Spain’s borders, supporting projects that improve pediatric healthcare in underserved communities.
This week, we had the honor of inaugurating the Aladina Pavilion at Hospital San Martín de Porres in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Fully funded by us through a €300,000 investment, this project is much more than a new building. It’s designed to transform healthcare for children and mothers in the region. The project has also been selected for the 2026 Architecture Awards.
A Neighborhood, a Hospital, and a Real Need
Hospital San Martín de Porres was founded in 2006 in Yaoundé’s Sixth District to meet the healthcare needs of the local population. Until now, outpatient services for children and mothers, as well as vaccination campaigns, were provided in a temporary facility. The Aladina Pavilion was created to change that reality.
The new building covers 388m² across two floors and was specifically designed to address the hospital’s needs and local context.

Supporting Children Beyond Spain
The Aladina Pavilion in Cameroon is another step forward in our international commitment to children facing serious illness.
At Aladina, we currently collaborate with organizations and projects in 14 countries, many of them affected by humanitarian crises or limited healthcare resources. Through these partnerships, we work to support Aladina’s warriors and their families in places like Armenia, Lebanon, Jordan, Ukraine, and many others.
