We have extended our emotional support therapy service with dogs to the Vithas Hospital in Valencia. Our aladinos can now spend a pleasant time with the dogs of Asociación Perros Azules and take advantage of the benefits that this type of canine therapy has for them.
With this new face-to-face service, we continue with our goal of ensuring that no child or adolescent with cancer loses their smile. We also currently provide this emotional support service in Madrid, at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital and the Niño Jesús Hospital, as well as at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville and online throughout Spain.
Dog therapy helps to reduce stress and anxiety, improves sociability and self-esteem, as well as the patient’s confidence and physical condition. It’s a great way to self-regulate while the Aladinos have a great time with their furry friends.
