New sedation room in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hospital Niño Jesús

The Intensive Care Unit at Hospital Niño Jesús (UCI ALADINA), a pioneer in humanizing pediatric care, includes a new space for patients requiring observation. This Sedation Unit serves 2,000 patients each year, and its activity has grown significantly.

Aladina transformed the former sedation area into "The Dream Room"—three bright, colorful procedure rooms equipped with advanced technology for pain-free interventions. Each room creates a calm, playful environment that reduces anxiety for children during procedures, and is fully equipped with a stretcher, monitor, medication cart, oxygen and air outlets, washing sink, and storage. The space also includes a rest area for families and staff. This €261,000 transformation has completely changed the experience for young patients.
